Apu, also known as Help Helper or Peepo, is a poorly drawn green frog, loosely inspired by Pepe the Frog. He is a younger, kinder, and more naive anthropomorphic frog. Popularized on image boards such as 4chan, Apu has become the most famous meme used in the cryptosphere.

Fed up with low-effort memecoins, more often than not led by deceptive developers, Apu decided to create his own fairly launched, fully transparent coin: $APU – the one and only coin for all frens.

2024-03-11 - Apu Apustaja (APU) launched on 4chan calling itself Apus Club Token. We were day 1 community members.
2023-03-21 The dev erased their website, deleted all socials, dumped some tokens, and vanished on 3/21.
2024-03-21 - Apucoin (APU) forked immediately with the goal of having a fair launched Apu Cryptocurrency after seeing the issues with the previous dev hiding majority of tokens and dumping on holders.
2024-03-24 - Apu Apustaja (APU) community was able to organize and resume development on their token without their dev.
